October Gullah Fest

General Information Vendor’s fee varies per booth, depending on the category you select. All fees must be paid by cashiers’ check or money order. Personal checks are unacceptable. No reservations will be accepted unless submitted with a signed application and advance payment. Vendors needing electrical power are charged up to $65.00.  Vendors must supply their own heavy duty electrical cords.

Requirements Food and merchandise vendors must submit a picture of food and merchandise to be sold at the festival. Vendors may not sell canned foods, specialty drinks, bottled beverages, nor water. Vendors may sell fruit smoothies only. The sale of alcohol and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. We provide vendors with a 10 x 10 space vendors provide their own tables, chairs, and tent.

Merchandise Vendors Unauthorized sell of T-shirts and other items advertising October Gullah Fest is strictly prohibited. The sale of bootlegged materials, items that portray profanity, sexual language, and/or sexual images is strictly prohibited.

Food Vendors ALL FOOD VENDORS are required to meet the guidelines of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Relations. Vendors may be required to get a temporary food service permit. For more information and to request a temporary food permit, call (850) 487-1395 . A copy of your food permit must be submitted along with application, picture, and payment. The sale of pork and meat products is prohibited.

Non-Profit/Community Vendors Non-profit and community organizations should display and/or provide information that is relevant to the upliftment and improvement of Jacksonville’s rich Gullah/Geechee cultural legacy.
